Blokarting, the ultimate land sailing sport, is fun and easy, the ideal starting point for those with no sailing experience.
Suitable age group: 12 years of age and above.
The ideal maximum number of students per 1hour session is 12, which will see them gain the skills required to handle these popular craft.
This activity can be utilised as a part of a school or camp program subject to the venues being suitable, wind speed, tides. This activity cannot always be scheduled but may be brought in when the all the conditions suit the venues. Venues can include sports fields (low grass firm) beaches on low tide on shore winds and large outdoor courts such as Netball Courts x 3
North Rodney Blue Light provides instruction on the assembly, safety, positioning, and operation of each of our 4 Blokarts. Helmets and two way radios are provided to instruct while the craft are mobile.
Safety is paramount and Activity and Site specific plans are arranged prior to the event.
